Maintain the hearth...your life depends on it!
Step into the life of a servant of Ancient Greece, tasked as keeper of the hearth. Build and maintain the fire or face the wrath of the house cook!
Challenges:
- Craft an engaging narrative-based game in Twine
-Define fire-tending mechanics system
-Complete in two weeks
-Code in JavaScript (no prior experience)

What I Learned:
-Writing a "choose-your-own-adventure" style narrative is different from linear dialogues
-Creating and implementing a triangle based gameplay mechanics system
-The process of building and maintaining a fire in reality
-Basic coding in JavaScript for Twine games (tally counts are fun!)
-How to embed open source GIFs
